Role Description
Working in the EMERGE Global Acceleration team, you will be responsible for community growth. Our EMERGE community is the source of leads to purchase our EMERGE products and join our EMERGE programmes. Our community includes startups, SMEs, government agencies, venture, NPOs and Angel Investors. It also includes communities that were active within our previous EMERGE deployments or projects.
You will work closely with the EMERGE Consultants, Producers and Operations team to manage effective communications with community members.
Community Building and Management
- Execute and measure lead generation campaigns to drive subscriptions on EMERGE online (e.g campaigns should include startup/company/expo visits, social media posts, email campaigns, etc.)
- Work with EMERGE Producers in productions and executions of EMERGE events (Once per quarter)
- Be responsible on content posts at least once a week and interact with EMERGE Community on Slack (e.g updating EMERGE community on current and planned EMERGE deployments)
Industry Research and Alignment
- Work with EMERGE Consultants to keep up-to-date on startup programs, subsidies and supports offered across our key geographies and share to EMERGE community
- Following and engaging with social media platforms of global startup and acceleration communities

Personality Qualities

- 3+ years portfolio featuring expert-community building experience online and offline.
- 3+ years in related startup or entrepreneurial activities for Deeptech/UX/Media/Marketing/Strategy project design/management work experience in one of key verticals (Consumer Electronics, Education, Internet, IT).

UG/Masters/MBA Degree in IT, Visual Communications, Multimedia, Design Management, Marketing Management
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin and/or Japanese
