METAXR Technologies launches unique XR products for Occupational Therapists
Global Digital MOJO, through its META:XR Technologies brand, a leader in augmented reality software development announces the launch of a range of XR Products aimed at Special Needs Occupational Therapy and Education.
The product range includes:
- “Gaze” AR Glasses and Application Software : built on Jorjin J7EF Gaze optical AR glasses with advanced optical and eye-tracking engine, the METAXR solution offers a range of assessment and engagement applications to be used by occupational therapists in therapeutic assessment and exercise.
- “MR Grab” Mixed Reality : a mixed-reality therapeutic tool built on video pass through platforms such as Meta Quest that can be used in fine motor training, upper limb control and visual training.
- Best-practice therapy guidelines : developed in partnership with experienced therapists, a unique set of guidelines for XR technology use by occupational and physical therapists.
The product and software was showcased at the Hong Kong Joint School Science Exhibition (https://www.jsse.org.hk/) from August 21 to 27, 2025. The exhibition highlights innovations by Hong Kong high schools in science education. A key partner in the Gaze product development is Caritas Lok Yi School (https://lokyi.edu.hk/) a special school providing service to students with severe and moderate intellectual development disorder. We exhibit the GAZE solution and demonstrate in therapeutic situations together.
