PR Times, Tokyo, 2020 : Global Digital MOJO Japan, alongside its client, Catalunya Tourism Agency, won the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Japan Tourism Awards for Excellent Partner and Special Awards for Digital Utilization.
JATA is an association sanctioned by the Commissioner of the Japan Tourism Agency, established in order to improve service quality for travelers coming to and going from Japan.
In 2019, Global Digital MOJO helped digitally transform the official website for the world’s first Virtual Reality (VR) tourism game, “Legends of Catalonia” produced by Catalonia Tourism and aimed at the Japanese market.
Presented for the 6th time, the Japan Tourism Awards credits on-going projects, initiatives, services and products which strive to promote sustainable development and expansion of tourism. The judging criteria is based upon the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically looking into innovation and novelty, profitability, expandability, and potential contributions to societies.
Global Digital MOJO has provided a successful O2O promotion experience in marketing the free Playstation 4 VR game, “Legends of Catalonia” to the Japanese market. Three GDM teams from Osaka, Hong Kong and Pune were involved in the development of the localised Japanese website and a launch event in Tokyo. We are very grateful to be receiving two awards from the Japan Association of Travel Agents. Ms Atsuko Kitano, creative director at MOJO Osaka, presented the game and landing page design at a special PR event in Tokyo in November 2019. Key journalists and influencers attended.
We are looking forward to meeting new clients and developing new partnerships for inbound and outbound digital transformation transactions; especially in the tourism industry.
