Chinese social networking giant Tencent unveiled a “basic” version of WeChat for vehicles recently. The concept of the project is to provide a new WeChat service on vehicles based on voice interaction, combining with steering wheel control and clean user interface.

The app allows drivers to listen to messages, dictate responses and initiate conversations, as well as finding contacts without taking off the hands from wheels. Users can also send and set the GPS location directly via this new service, meaning that the user experience is going to make big strides, bigger than ever.

The car app, demonstrated at a smart-technology expo in Chongqing, is still rudimentary but the result is worth waiting. Let’s see how Internet of Things(IoT) will evolve in the following decades together!
